The Hockey Ice Maintenance Training Course is a practical, hands-on training program designed for ice technicians, arena operators, facility managers, volunteers, and anyone responsible for maintaining a safe, consistent, high-quality hockey ice surface.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of ice maintenance, including ice preparation, flooding techniques, temperature management, scraping, edging, painting, snow removal, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and daily ice-care procedures.

The course combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training.

Participants will have the opportunity to apply proper techniques and learn how small adjustments in maintenance procedures can significantly improve ice quality, player safety and facility operations.
